TED Talks that we will watch at our 8th meeting!

Dear Curious Souls,

Are you almost ready for our 8th meeting 🙂

If you are, then I suggest that we watch the following TED Talks during our meeting:

1. Pamela Meyer : “How to spot a liar”
2. Arthur Benjamin does_mathemagic.
3. Bunker Roy: “Learning from a barefoot movement”
4. Derek Sivers: “How to start a movement”
5. John Legend: “True colors”

If you haven’t already watched the above talks, I suggest that YOU DO NOT! It would be quite nice to keep the surprise element in.

If any of you would be interested in moderating one of our talks, please tell me so that I suggest a talk for you; you can then watch and see if it really fits you 🙂

I want to remind you that we are having our meeting in the afternoon at 14:00 and not in the evening as we did in several of our previous meetings. As it is quite enjoyable to chat with friends and say hello to the ones whe haven’t seen since long, I keep about half an hour for us to warm up. At 14:30 I intend to start. So try to come at 14:00 or at the most before 14:30; I’d hate to see you miss such an interesting and entertatining talk in the beginning 🙂

As you know, we will be at Publico Bar at Tunnel -İstiklal Street and I would like to thank them once more, for hosting our meeting without any charge. By the way, after our meeting, they have a musical organisation at the bar so we may as well choose stay there a bit more and have food while we  listen to the music and maybe even dance :-))

In the meantime, enjoy the beautiful weather in Istanbul and see you all on Sunday.

With kind regards.

Isil the Curious Soul 🙂
