Dear Curious Souls,
What can be more tempting for hungry Curious Souls like us, to learn more about love?
If you agree, then I would like to inform you that there will be a “Philosophy Evening” with the title: “Philosophy’s love.”
What is love? How do philosophers interpret love? If, even Socrates says that he learned about love from the old woman Diotime, can we also learn about love? Can philosophy fill in empty spaces that we may have about love and help us introduce new colors to the way we experience love? These are some of the questions that we will be discussing and learning about. Isn’t it fastinating? 🙂
The host of the event is Dr.Ufuk Yaltıraklı, a friend of mine, who is a pschotherapist and philosopher. He lives in Berlin and orginizes “Philisophy Evenings” there since 8 years. Event is sponsored by Kadıkoy Municipality and it is free of charge. However, as no reservations are taken, I suggest that you come a bit earlier if you would like to make sure that you participate.
Unfortunately, the event is only in Turkish. I am sorry for my non-Turkish speaking friends 😦 However, we may, in the future, find an opportunity, to have an English version of this meeting for only the Curious Souls.
